A woman of African melanin takes pride in her hair. This mosaic was inspired by my own loc journey and embracing my natural hair. This mosaic used a combination of locally sourced plates and factory made mosaic tiles. The skin was made with plates that were broken and transformed becoming undeniably beautiful.
